You’re gone, from the world.
From my world.
Yet I feel you every day.

The ground has shifted, it slopes away.
It is unstable beneath my feet.
I brace for the climb; it falls away rapidly.

The light has changed.
It can never be the same.

I feel so profoundly changed.
Yet I go on.
I must go on.

What joy there is, is tinged with sadness.
This loss pervades all.

This loss of you.
